The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, about the relations between the two countries, as well as the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

Bećirović emphasized that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the Berlin process and that it is necessary to urgently end the obstructions from Bosnia and Herzegovina. entity of the RS.

“There is no justified reason for the RS entity to block the signing of the three agreements signed by Zoran Tegeltija on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is particularly harmful that the RS entity is blocking the adoption of the Agreement on Freedom of Movement with Identity Cards in the Western Balkans. This is a direct blow to the building of good regional relations and it must be stopped immediately,” he said.

Bećirović and Rama assessed that the relations between the two countries are friendly and expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation so far. The interlocutors concluded that there is a mutual interest in further improving the existing good relations, and that the opening of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Albania, as well as the opening of the Embassy of Albania in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will contribute to this.

Bećirović informed Prime Minister Rama about the threat to the constitutional order of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out the seriousness of the situation in our country.

The visit of Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama to Bosnia and Herzegovina is part of his Balkan tour, during which he will also visit Skopje, Pristina, Belgrade and Podgorica.
