building1The official beginning of construction of second section of motorway Banja Luka – Doboj, from Banja Luka to Prnjavor, was marked in Miloševci near Laktaši.

The works are worth 158 million Euros, which was secured from a loan of the European Investment Bank.

Contractor is consortium of companies “Integral Engineering” from Laktaši and “Granit” from Skopje, which is currently building the first section of motorway Banja Luka – Doboj, from Doboj to Prnjavor.

Deadline for completion of works is 36 months from the beginning of construction.

Executive Director for economic-financial affairs in “Motorways of RS” Banja Luka Marko Mitrović said it is a road 35.3 kilometers long, where 65 facilities will be built.

The event was attended by the President of RS Milorad Dodik and Minister of Transport and Connections of RS Nedeljko Čubrilović, who said they are negotiating construction of new sections and the next one should be Brčko -Bijeljina or Banja Luka – Prijedor, which depends on potential investors and contractors.
