Believers from B&H Raised Over 12 Million BAM for the Needs of the Poor

Money for the Poor novovrijeme.baLast year, the Muslim believers in B&H raised more than 12 million BAM on behalf of the Zakat and Sadekatu-l-Fitr, it was announced from the Islamic Community in B&H.

The believers in B&H raised slightly more than 10 million BAM, while those from the diaspora collected more than 2 million BAM.

”That is 7.9 per cent more than last year”, it was announced from the Islamic Community in B&H.

Zakat and Sadekatu-l-Fitr are religious obligations which order that every Muslim, who fulfills the conditions for that, once a year must allocate a part of his wealth and give it for the needs of the poor, as well as for other socially beneficial purposes.
