NA BJELAŠNICI I JAHORINI 30 CM SNIJEGA, SKIJAŠKA SEZONA RANIJE?This year’s winter tourist season is one of the best since the war. In contrast to last year,  the snow and  the conditions suitable for skiing have contributed towards the excellent number of visitors to BiH ski resorts. Bjelašnica and Igman have both registered excellent attendance, which can be seen by the satisfaction by the hotel managers.

The company ZOI’84, which maintains the ski slopes on Bjelasnica and Igman, says that they will persist in the maintenance of quality service. Additionally, it is important to note that before the start of the season they have lowered the prices of services in order for all lovers of winter to enjoy the mountains

“Due to great weather conditions, much better income was made this year than the previous one.”, said Midhat Hubijar, the Director of ZOI’84 for Klix.ba.

Buses to the Bjelasnica and Igman are assured, which also contributes to a greater number of visitors on weekdays, and especially on weekends.

Hubijar added that constant communication between companies contributed to the increase in the number of people visiting Bjelasnica and Igman mountains. The first Saturday in February broke all records and was declared to be the busiest day in the last 15 years.

Recently, the 31st anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo was celebrated. Facilities for ski jumps are awaiting restoration and visitors want new facilities, especially during the summer months.

Reconstruction of infrastructure on Bjelasnica and Igman has to be done because of EYOF (European Youth Olympic Festival) which will be held in 2017. The company ZOI’84 will, according to the director Hubijar, make every effort to be ready to welcome the participants of the mountain festival.
