exercise6The exercise Jackal Stone 2017 will be held within the Program of joint training and exercises of European Command of the Army of the United States in June this year. It is an exercise during which will be used the real scenario of terrorist threats with the aim of improving mutual operational cooperation between security forces of the USA and police and security agencies in our country.

Jackal Stone 2017 represents part of the Program of joint training and exercise of the US Command for Europe, whose aim is to improve interoperability with its federal and partner countries.

“This exercise represents a support to interoperability between the US and BiH and it helps in preparing all participants for conducting trainings with partner forces and inter-resourceful organizations through the exchange of doctrinal concepts, training concepts, and tactics. Their intention is to promote cooperation, understanding, and interoperability between the Army of the USA and regional partners,” as announced by the Office of Public Affairs of the US Embassy.

As they said, Jackal Stone 2017 represents bilateral exercise with participation of almost 600 members of the military and civilian structures and institutions of power from the United States and BiH.

“BH institutions that will participate in the exercise are SIPA, Ministry of Security of BiH, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the FBiH, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS, Police of Canton Sarajevo, Police of Brcko District and  Ministry of Defense of BiH,” as said from the Office of Public Relations of the US Embassy.
