The men’s cadet handball team of B&H (U18) gathered in Jajce where they are undergoing short preparations before the qualifying tournament for the European Championship 2014 in Poland.
The General Selector of the Handball Association of B&H Smajo Karačić said that the B&H cadets have been continuously preparing for almost a year under the leadership of selector Jasmin Mrkonja, and this is their seventh gathering.
As part of the four-day preparations in Jajce, our best young handball players will play a control match against the local federal premiership club on Wednesday.
The final phase of preparations will take place in Greece and Austria. It is planned that from 26 to 31 December, three friendly matches will take place with Greece, and from 3 to 8 January 2014 three more control matches with the host Austria will occur.
The B&H team, as part of the third qualification group, will play against Denmark, rance and Bulgaria. The tournament will take place from 10 to 12 January in Skarbek, Denmark.
