The national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is ending the year 2015 ranked 22nd on the FIFA rankings, with 898 points.
After being eliminated in the playoffs for EURO 2016 by the Republic of Ireland, the players selected by the coach Mehmed Baždarević moved down by two position in comparison with the last month ranking.
After winning in the friendly match in Russia (1:3), Croatia progressed by one position, thus it is still the best ranked team from the Western Balkans region since it is on 18th place of FIFA rankings (958 points). Serbia is 56th (590 points), Slovenia 61st (565 points), Montenegro 85th (403 points), and Macedonia 136th (257 points).
Belgium remained to be the first national team in the world (1,494 points). Among top ten are Argentina (1,455), Spain (1,370), Germany (1,347), Chile (1,273), Brazil (1,251), Portugal (1,219), Columbia (1,211), England (1,106) and Austria (1,091).
