salaryThe average net salary in Republika Srpska in the month of July amounted to 838 BAM, according to the Institute of Statistics from this entity.

Compared to July 2015, the average net salary was increased by 1.5 % in real terms, while it was lower by 0.5 % compared to June 2016 .

This drop mainly happened because of a smaller number of paid overtime hours and work on the public holidays in the following areas: information and communications, mining and quarrying and the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, in which is employed a significant number of workers, according to the Institute of Statistics of the RS.

The highest average net salary in the RS is in financial and insurance sector and it amounts to 1,267 BAM, and the lowest is in administrative and support service sector, and amounts to only 516 BAM.
