B&H High Representative Welcomed Appointment of First Deputy High Representative

tamir_waserHigh Representative to B&H Valentin Inzko welcomed today the appointment of the Deputy High Representative, US Diplomat Tamir Waser. In addition to the first Deputy High Representative, he will simultaneously become the supervisor for Brčko.

Waser will assume his duties on 21 October.

‘’Tamir Waser has a rich diplomatic experience and knowledge. His appointment is another proof of the commitment of the US to peace in B&H. He worked for many years on issues tied to European politics and the economy, and he has invaluable expertise on the challenges that B&H faces and in the area of the Western Balkans’’, said the High Representative.

Before arriving in B&H, Waser worked as the Special Assistant of the US Under-Secretary for Political Affairs in Washington.
