BH School goes to Shanghai to World Robotics Competition

The SPARK school team attended the WER Croatia Open competition in Zagreb organized by IRIM, along with students from 12 Bosnian-Herzegovinian schools. It is a cup that is part of the world competition under the World Education Robotics.

At the end of SPARKreators League for the school year 2016/2017, IRIM and SPARK school donated 19 Abilix robots to schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina. More than 70 teams and nearly 200 students competed in Kajzerica Primary School in Zagreb and the best teams from Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina won the Shanghai World Cup tickets. The “Suljo Čilić” primary school from Jablanica is among them.

The task for the participants was to solve the obstacles using Abilix robots. A total of 49 schools from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia competed in the 5th and 8th-grade category. Jasmina Begović, Edi Đelmo, and Džejla Malanović from the Suljo Čilić Primary School from Jablanica won the second place under the mentorship of Adis Pirija and Amra Dželmo, while Pleho Galib, Išerić Abdullah, and Išerić Halima from Vrhbosna Primary School from Sarajevo won the third place, under the mentorship of Zimić Asmira.
