The FB&H Ministry of Labor and Social Policy informed the public that the law on designating 25 November as the Statehood Day of B&H (Official Gazette of B&H, number 9/95) is a non-working day, so employers, institutions, administrative bodies and other companies do not work.
At the first session of the State Anti-fascist Council for the National Liberation of B&H (ZAVNOBiH) on 25 November 1943 in Mrkonjić Grad, the decision was brought on the reaffirming the statehood of B&H, confirmed by its historical boundaries that dated back to the Medieval period.
