The company “Unis Ginex” from Goražde, which produces parts for military and civilian use, could be the largest European producer of initial ammunition capsules and detonators for ammunition and weapons this year.
The Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of FB&H Erdal Trhulj conveyed this information in a statement for “Avaz”, who with the managers of this company was in the USA during the weekend. Also, leaders of the company “Igman” Konjic were part of the B&H delegation, which visited the fair of small caliber munitions in Las Vegas.
Trhulj said that the visit was organized in collaboration with an American company “Howell Machine”, with which the government of FB&H recently signed a Memorandum of understanding and strategic partnership in the field of production, development and trade of arms and military equipments.
“Representatives of “Unix Ginex” during business meetings in USA announced that during this year they will produce a billion pieces of initial ammunition capsules and detonators for civilian and military equipment. This would place our company in first place in Europe. So far, the leading company in Europe in this field was a Swiss company”, said Trhulj.
