The biggest world’s chain of hotels Marriott recognized the excellent touristic potential of the B&H capital and, along with the investors – companies Lake and SEIC, announced the opening of two hotels in the centre of Sarajevo.

The branded hotels “Residence Inn by Marriott” and “Courtyard by Marriott” will classify Sarajevo and B&H on the world list of tourism and hotels.

Besides two new hotels to be open in Sarajevo, there are more than 4 000 other hotels in 72 countries of the world in the Marriott family which, along with 80 years of tradition, guarantees high quality, standard and prestige in the hotel sector.

“B&H and Sarajevo are becoming more and more popular destinations for tourism and business. This shows a great potential that needs investments and that is one of the main reasons to open the Marriott hotels. I would especially like to point out that this is a unique chance for young people who wish to work in this sector because the opening of hotels offers big chances for new work places. We will most certainly give our confidence to young B&H staff in these luxurious hotels.” – said the manager of the Marriott hotels Kayhan Kilit.

He also pointed out that the location of the hotels is especially attractive for business people because all business administrative and cultural institutions are situated nearby.

The opening of the “Residence Inn by Marriott” hotels is scheduled by the end of November this year while the “Courtyard by Marriott” will open its doors in spring 2015.
