Bigger Number of Tourists in September, Most Visitors Come From Turkey

turisti33.952 tourists visited Sarajevo Canton in September 2013, and that is 19.7 percent more than September last year.

Tourists have stayed 66.212 overnights and that is 12.7 percent more than in the same period last year.

In Sarajevo Canton, 88.4 percent of visitors are foreign ones and 11.6 percent are local tourists.

Most foreign tourists come from Turkey (13.2 percent), Croatia (9.2 percent), from Slovenia (6.7 percent), Germany (4.8 percent) and from Poland (4.6 per cent). In total foreign tourists mark a 89.1 percent overnight stays, while local tourists record 10.9 percent.

Sarajevo Canton in the first nine months of 2013 is visited by 228.452 tourists and that is 15.8 percent more compared to the same period last year.
