170207079.6_mnThis year as well, club “Behar” Sissach and the Association “Serce Cazin” organized a charity concert and meeting of citizens in Lausanne, which gathered a great number of BH citizens who live in Western Europe.

Many Bosnians, especially the ones who used to live in Krajina, strive to maintain personal contacts through the annual meetings, similar to one in Lausanne.

A unique gathering on which many generations, especially the ones from all regions of Switzerland, but from the neighboring Austria and Germany as well, represents the biggest gathering of BH diaspora.

The tradition of gatherings in Switzerland lasts for 15 years, and for the 10th anniversary, Bosnians’ celebrities Enes Begovic, Elvira Rahic and Fazlija, entertained the ones who gathered at the event.

“All money collected from this year’s concert is intended for building a house to Haso Majetic, an immovable man from Cazin, whose house is completely devastated,” said Senad Puskar, a member of the club, “Behar”.

As every year, the meeting was attended by the Mayor of Cazin Nermin Ogrešević, who said that the strengthening and expansion of community is the basic motive of this gathering.

“We work hard on the strengthening of ties and when we see that there are many generations on this event, from the youngest to the oldest, meeting in order to become a decent community, it is clear that all the effort was not in vain,” said Ogrešević.

Adnan Bajric, the President of the Association of Citizens of the Bosnian Krajina, invited all Bosnians who live abroad to take advantage of their knowledge and capacities, and through investments to assist the economic development of BiH.

Moreover, a traditional football tournament, in which more than 100 teams from all over Europe registered was held as well.
