Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic received a delegation of the Croatian Parliament, led by the President of Parliament Bozo Petrov.
Zvizdic congratulated Petrov on his election as the President of the Parliament, and wished him success in his work. He introduced Petrov with the current economic and political situation in BiH and thanked him for transfer of knowledge and experience in the field of European integration. He said that European and Euro-Atlantic agenda of BiH is very important link in bilateral relations with the Republic of Croatia as a member of the European Union and NATO, and emphasized that these facts are pointing to an even more comprehensive and intensive cooperation, not only bilaterally, but also at the regional and wider global scale, as said by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
President of the Croatian Parliament Bozo Petrov said that Croatia respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, as well as the equality of the three constituent peoples, and that it does not support the creation of additional entities in BiH.
He said that Croatia fully supports BiH on its path towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration and expressed the hope to join the European family very soon. He praised the economic development of BiH and said that it is important to continue cooperation in all areas.
Zvizdic and Petrov agreed that BiH is key for stability in Southeast Europe.
They talked about the promotion of cooperation in the infrastructure and energy projects, on further strengthening of economic, trade, scientific and cultural cooperation, as well as the joint session of the Government of Croatia and the Council of Ministers of BiH.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Miro Kovac, head of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Croatian Parliament Zlatko Hasanbegovic, vice president of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Josko Klisovic and the Croatian Ambassador to BiH, Ivan Del Vecchio, as announced by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
