The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) adopted the report of the Ministry of Finances and Treasury regarding the implementation of the Budget of the institutions of BiH and international obligations for the period between January and June of 2017.

The total amount of funds available to the institutions of BiH for the first six months of 2017 was 548,013,298 BAM, while the total expenses were 438,303,486 BAM.

No new institutions were formed, while the existing ones continued saving in terms of pays and material expenses in 2017. Employees’ salaries remained almost the same as in the second half of 2012, when they were significantly decreased and material expenses were also significantly decreased.

In the first half year, 438.59 million BAM was paid for the purpose of paying foreign debt, which means that all obligations have been taken care of. Of that sum, 379.24 million BAM or 86.47% was spent towards the original loan, while 59.35 million BAM or 13.53% was spent towards interest and other payments.
