BiH Border Police conducted Searches at several Locations

On the order of the acting prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, police officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina arrest suspects and conduct searches at several locations in the area of Banja Luka, Zenica and Novi Travnik.

These activities are a continuation of work on the subject codenamed “Dove”.

The action is aimed at three people suspected of organized crime, connected with the illegal traffic of large quantities of the narcotic drug “marijuana-skank”, which was smuggled from the territory of Albania, through Montenegro to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as further towards Croatia and the countries of the European Union, it was announced from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Evidence obtained from the Sky and Anom applications was used in the case.

After the activities in the field are completed, the acting prosecutor will make a decision on further activities, according to the statement.
