The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled to consider the Proposal for a Decision on the Establishment of the Office of the Chief Negotiator of BiH with the European Union, as well as the draft laws on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and the Court of BiH, which are important for the European path.

The session with the same agenda was scheduled to be held on Tuesday, December 2, but it was not because the ministers from Republika Srpska did not support the agenda, which, according to the Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, was not coordinated.

Košarac said at the time that the ministers from the SNSD would never support something that is on the agenda that has not been previously coordinated in the institutions of Republika Srpska.

The proposed agenda for the session also includes a proposal for a decision on the temporary suspension and temporary reduction of customs rates on the import of certain goods until December 31, 2026, which was proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, the Council of Ministers announced.

The ministers should have before them a proposal for a decision on determining the annual quota of work permits for the employment of foreigners in BiH for the coming year, as well as a proposal for a memorandum of understanding between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses.

The Ministry of Defense of BiH proposed information on the Annual Training and Exercise Plan for members and units of the Armed Forces of BiH abroad for the coming year, as well as information on the implementation of the Implementation Plan “Defense Review” and the Action Plan for the implementation of the “Development and Modernization Plan of the Armed Forces of BiH 2017-2027”.

The session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
