Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Defense Zukan Helez today held a meeting with the United States (USA) Military Attaché in BiH, Brigadier General Eric R. Adams.
On that occasion, Helez emphasized that meetings with Adams are regular and substantive, and that they always result in concrete projects that further enhance the already extremely productive cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH with the United States of America.
The focus of today’s meeting was Minister Helez’s multi-day visit to the United States of America next week, during which he will have meetings at the highest level with representatives of the United States authorities at the Pentagon.
“I am the first state minister from the region, and among the first in the world, to visit the United States after the formation of the new administration. This visit is an opportunity to further strengthen the partnership and ensure the continued support of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The United States of America is our friend and key foreign policy partner,” Helez emphasized.
Helez thanked Adams for his continued support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and multiethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for his assistance to the Ministry of Defense of BiH and his contribution to strengthening the capacities of the Armed Forces of BiH, the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
