In November Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved the record monthly export this year, which enabled slight improvement in the humble results in trade exchange.
Export in November amounted to 891.4 million BAM, which is 16.6 percent more than in the same month last year.
The export result from November is by 50 million BAM higher than the second highest monthly export which was registered in June, 841.3 million BAM.
Good export result in November increased the growth of export in this year by 3.9 percent, after the growth amounted to 2.6 percent in ten months.
At the same time, import increased in November by 7.1 percent and amounted to 1.39 billion BAM.
According to the Agency for Statistics of BiH, in eleven months of this year BiH achieved export in the amount of 8.58 billion BAM. Import amounted to 14.64 billion BAM, which is 0.5 percent more. Coverage of import with export is 58.6 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounts to 6 billion 58 million BAM.
Export to the CEFTA countries increased by 3 percent in comparison with the same period last year, while the import in these countries of free trade increased by 4.5 percent. Coverage of import with export in the CEFTA countries is 67.4 percent.
Export to the countries of EU increased by 3.7 percent in comparison with the same period in 2015, and import increased by two percent. Coverage of import with export with EU countries amounts to 68.5 percent.
