Bosnia and Herzegovina exported goods worth 12 billion and 655 million BAM in nine months (January-September) this year, which is 6.4 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 20 billion and 767 million BAM, which is 1.9 percent less.
The coverage of imports by exports in nine months of this year amounted to 60.9 percent, while the foreign trade deficit of BiH amounted to eight billion and 112 million BAM, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.
Exports from BiH to CEFTA countries amounted to two billion and 358 million BAM, which is 5.4 percent less than in the same period in 2022, while imports amounted to two billion and 438 million BAM, which is six percent less. than in nine months of the previous year.
Coverage of imports by exports with CEFTA countries was 96.7 percent.
In nine months of this year, goods worth nine billion and 311 million BAM were exported from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the countries of the European Union, which is 6.8 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 12 billion and 172 million BAM, which is more by two percent.
Coverage of imports by exports with EU countries was 76.5 percent.
