BiH FM spoke with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković, as part of his official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Ayman Safadi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced.

Konaković emphasized the importance of strengthening political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, the importance of exchanging high-level visits, as well as the continuation of consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs.

He invited Minister Safadi to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Konaković informed the interlocutor about the current situation in the country, highlighting political and economic reforms, the foreign policy of BiH, relations with neighboring countries and countries in the region, as well as progress on the way to membership in the European Union and the process of cooperation with NATO.

Safadi emphasized that Jordan appreciates the reform processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina and supports its European and Euro-Atlantic path.

He also pointed out that Jordan will continue to support initiatives that contribute to regional stability and peace.

The interlocutors expressed readiness for further development of bilateral cooperation, as well as for active participation in international initiatives and forums that promote dialogue and stability.
