BiH Foreign Minister on Threats to Schmidt: Shocking Messages from the Rally in Banja Luka

Bisera Turkovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), strongly condemned the death threats made to the High Representative for BiH, Christian Schmidt, at yesterday’s gathering in Banja Luka.

”Shocking messages from the demonstrations in Banja Luka! Threats to the High Representative are absolutely unacceptable. It is high time to stop the dangerous radicalization of BiH and the region according to the matrix from Ukraine! Support to the Office of the High Representative (OHR) and the High Representative,” Turkovic wrote on her Facebook profile.

It should be reminded that the ”Sloboda” (”Freedom”) rally was held in Banja Luka yesterday, which was formally organized by the Republika Srpska (RS) Veterans’ Organization (BORS) after the decision of the High Representative Christian Schmidt to suspend the RS Law on Immovable Property. The gathering was supported by representatives of the authorities of this entity.
