Due to high daytime temperatures in Herzegovina, and in the rest of the country due to thunderstorms, a yellow weather alert is in effect.

The possibility of thunderstorms is expected in the Livan, Sarajevo and Tuzla areas, while in the Banja Luka, Foča, Prijedor and Visegrad areas, showers with thunder are forecast, which is why the yellow weather alert is in effect.

High daily temperatures between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius are forecast in the Mostar and Trebinje areas.

“Expect minor disruptions in outdoor activities. Be aware that high air temperatures are expected. Health risks are possible among vulnerable people, for example the elderly, very young people”, according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.

Partially clear weather prevails in Bosnia. Rare local showers were registered in central and northern areas. In Herzegovina, the weather is mostly sunny.

Air temperatures measured at eight o’clock were Bjelašnica 14, Livno 18, Široki Brijeg and Sokolac 19, Banja Luka 20, Sanski Most, Sarajevo and Tuzla 21, Bihać, Bugojno, Gradačac, Prijedor, Srebrenica and Zenica 22, Bijeljina and Trebinje 23; Mostar and Neum 25 degrees Celsius.

Today in Bosnia partly clear and unstable with local showers and thunderstorms. The appearance of a city is also possible. Stronger showers are expected in the afternoon when the storm is most likely in the east, northeast and north of Bosnia.

Mostly sunny weather in Herzegovina. More cloudiness in the north of Herzegovina.

The wind is weak to moderate, northerly in Bosnia, and southerly in Herzegovina. The highest daily air temperature is mostly between 25 and 30, in the south of the country up to 35 degrees Celsius.
