BiH karate player Meris Muhovic won the silver medal at the European Championships in karate for seniors, which took place in French Montpellier.
Turkish national team member Ugur Aktas was the only one who managed to stop Muhovic on his way to gold. After a few years of break, this is the first European medal in BiH brought by senior karate players.
“Meris will be dominant competitor in the future,” said the president of the Karate Club “Champion”, Mensur Agovic.
“This is a result of all of us in BiH,” he added.
It is interesting that Muhovic was brilliant on the European festival karate players in France, although he just recovered from the injury.
