He added that the consequences of the war in Ukraine, we all feel it, both in political and security terms, and increasingly also in economic and energy terms. He expressed his gratitude to NATO and the European Union, which, through donor support packages, supported Bosnia and Herzegovina and its armed forces, in strengthening their capacities and combat readiness.

Helez said that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not falter on its Euro-Atlantic path, and that the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina remain a credible partner to the Alliance, ready to contribute to international peace and security.

A representative of the NATO Committee for Partnership, Mr. James Mackey, in his speech pointed out: “The committee is here with you today because Bosnia and Herzegovina is an important country for the NATO alliance.”
