BiH Ministry: Zero Tolerance to Practice of Issuing False Diplomas

During the increasingly frequent detection of falsified diplomas, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina expresses its determination to apply zero tolerance to such practices of issuing false diplomas, the ministry announced.

They strongly condemn the recently discovered affair with over a hundred falsified high school diplomas in Cazin.

“We note that this dishonorable practice seriously damages the integrity of our educational system and raises the question of the responsibility of all actors in the FBiH educational system,” they said.

Education is the foundation of our society and the pillar on which knowledge, skills and professionalism are based, it was emphasized.

“Diploma forgery is not only fraudulent and disrespectful to those who have legitimately and honorably earned their academic and other degrees, but also poses a serious threat to the quality of our education system and the overall social balance.”

In this way, the ministry called on all competent institutions to be actively involved in identifying and sanctioning all those responsible for diploma falsification affairs, with a special emphasis on the events in Cazin.

“Also, we call on all educational institutions to take additional measures to protect the integrity and authenticity of diplomas. We encourage citizens to be careful and cautious when checking the authenticity of diplomas and always use official channels to verify educational qualifications. Only with mutual cooperation and responsibility can we together preserve the integrity of our education system.”

The Ministry of Education and Science of the FBiH remains committed to raising the quality of education in our country and preserving its honor, they pointed out at the end.

“We are convinced that the joint effort of all citizens and institutions will ensure fair, transparent and honest education for all.”
