The training of the first group of military pilots of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) in the domestic pilot training organization was successfully completed.
As announced by Sport and Business Aviation (SBA), a delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the AFBiH visited the SBA and the Flying School at the Zaluzani airport, where the training was held, by the decision of the Minister of Defense Sifet Podzic (DF).
The delegation consisting of Vladimir Grujic (Brigadier), Edin Cizmic (Colonel), Goran Miletic (Colonel), and Kemal Kulasevic (Colonel) was led by Assistant Minister Dzenan Redjo. The delegation was joined by the representative of the Embassy of the United States (U.S.), Lori D. Renwick.
After it was officially determined that all elements of the training were carried out in full accordance with the cooperation agreement, the attendees expressed their satisfaction with the organization and all aspects of the conducted training.
It was established that this project is of historical importance, because, as stated, this is the first time since the establishment of the AFBiH that military pilots are trained in a domestic pilot training organization.
”The candidates are represented by young officers of the AFBiHwho will continue to be trained in two helicopter squadrons of the AFBiH, ” it was announced by the SBA.
