The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has issued an arrest warrant for the questioning of the President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik, the Prime Minister of RS Radovan Višković and the President of the RS National Assembly Nenad Stevandić, it was confirmed to Klix.ba.
As Klix.ba was told, Dodik, Višković and Stevandić should be brought in by the judicial police with the assistance of any police agency.
The Prosecutor’s Office charges them with committing the criminal offense of “attack on the constitutional order”.
They previously did not respond to the summons of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH for questioning, Dodik even claimed that he did not receive the summons.
If the three of them are not brought in today, an internal warrant will be issued under which any police agency within BiH can arrest them, including the Border Police, according to the Klix.ba.
In the event that he is not arrested under the internal warrant, an Interpol warrant will be issued.
As a reminder, the 19th issue of the Official Gazette contains decrees promulgating four laws adopted by the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska at a special session on February 27, which undermine the constitutional order of BiH and seek to prohibit the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the Court of BiH, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) and SIPA in the territory of the Republika Srpska.
These laws were temporarily suspended by a decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
