The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina left Sarajevo International Airport early this morning for the USA, where they will play in their second World Cup in history.
The Dragons first flew to Frankfurt, from where they will transfer to St. Louis, where another friendly match against Panama awaits us on Saturday.
Although our expedition was expected by an early flight, the mood was high, and our players were accompanied by Osman Hadžikić, who was injured and dropped from the list at the last moment.
Among those present were several fans, who took the opportunity to take photos with our players and get autographs.
After the match against Panama, our national team members will fly to Toronto, where they will await their appearance at the second World Cup in history.
We are in group B together with the national teams of Canada, Switzerland and Qatar.
After Toronto and the duel with Canada, we have two more matches on American soil, on June 18 and 24 in Inglewood and Seattle, respectively.
The Swiss will be our opponents on June 18, while we will end the group stage with a match against Qatar six days later, Klix.ba writes.
Let us remind you that the Dragons started preparing for the World Cup ten days ago, and so far Sergej Barbarez’s team has already played one game against North Macedonia in Koševo, it was 0:0.
Let’s add that this will be our second appearance at the World Cup in history, and in the first year in 2014 in Brazil, we did not pass the group stage.
