During this year, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) discovered and temporarily seized 269 kilograms of the intoxicating drug cocaine.
Seizures were made in four separate cases, and the drugs came to Bosnia and Herzegovina from South America.
The expert determined that the narcotic drug is cocaine of high purity in the interval of 95 to 99 percent, while the estimated value on the market is over 30,000,000 euros.
In connection with the documentation and elucidation of the aforementioned seizures of cocaine, the State Agency for Investigation and Protection, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, carries out all necessary investigative measures and actions in cooperation with international police agencies such as Intrepol, Europol, DEA and the Ministries of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia.
