“Bosnia and Herzegovina should soon get the license to export cattle meat to Malaysia and the key conditions have been already met,” was stated during the meeting with Foreign Minister of Economic Affairs and Economic Relations in Malaysia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
During the meeting, it was stated that the request for export approval with all the answers so far requested was already filed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and the Veterinary Office of BiH.
“We have the quality and we have successfully met European standards, which is why we need to develop trade not only with the EU but in Turkey and Russia, ”said Minister Sarovic.
The interlocutors agreed that the process of obtaining meat export licenses should be completed as soon as domestic entrepreneurs started exporting meat to this market.
Malaysia imports 80 percent of meat and meat products from other countries.
