The BiH cultivators of strawberries are satisfied with the season so far. Strawberries are currently being picked on plantations throughout the country.
BiH agricultural producers produced around 12.000 tons of berries last year, which makes BiH one of the serious producers in Europe and broader. High quality strawberries are being cultivated in BiH, which is why the entire harvest most often ends up on the demanding European market.
What is interesting is that the high quality BiH strawberries end up on the shelves in the markets in European countries, while BiH imports tons of strawberries of suspicious origin.
