The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) determined the Proposal of the Loan Agreement between BiH and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the Project for the Improvement of Health Systems, worth 67.3 million euros.

”The funds are intended for both entities, the Republika Srpska (RS) 48.060.000 euros, and the Federation of BiH (FBiH) 19.240.000 euros, to improve the quality of health services and the financial condition of health systems in BiH, with more effective management of funds,” the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.

The loan will, among other things, be aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of health care for the benefit of BiH citizens, with a repayment period of 32 years, including a seven-year grace period.

The proposal will be submitted to the Presidency of BiH for further procedure, and the Minister of Finance and Treasury has been proposed as the BiH signatory.
