Olympic beauty Bjelasnica is beautiful and unique throughout the year, and fascinating scenes from the bird’s perspective while covered with snow are simply breathtaking. Portal Klix.ba brought the footage captured by drone in which you will enjoy.
Although there is not enough snow on Bjelasnica as needed to fill all the capacities and satisfaction of tourists, the available conditions are used in the best way possible.
Ski lifts BX, K1 and three seat ski lift were put into operation on Bjelasnica. Also night skiing is taking place every day from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Since the trail for night skiing are regularly maintained, artificial snow combined with the natural is used.
“We now have only around 35 centimeters of snow on Bjelasnica and unfortunately this is the worst possible amount of snow for maintaining the trails. It’s a dry snow which cannot be adequately regulated because of the wind,” said Adis Musinovic, director of Ski center on Bjelasnica.
“Night skiing regularly operates as well as ski lift BX, and I can say that the conditions are excellent. Unfortunately when it comes to other trails we are fighting against the strong wind, which is making us very difficult to maintain ski area, so the slopes are not satisfactory,” emphasized Musinovic.
Despite all of this, beauty of Bjelasnica is unique and fascinating, which is confirmed by footage of the Olympic beauty from the panoramic view.
