Because of certain changes in the calendar of the International Ski Federation, the Ski Federation of B&H was obliged to postpone the test race of the European Cup in alpine skiing.
The race will be held on the 19th and 20th of February 2013, instead of on the 11th of February on Bjelašnica. They expect around 8o skiers from whole Europe to come. The organizers secured all necessary activities within the preparations for the race. They’ve also formed the Organizing Committee of the European Cup. Željko Komšić , the member of the Presidency of B&H was elected as the president of the Organizing Committee.
Thanks to this race of the European Cup which will take place on Bjelašnica, Sarajevo will again be in the spotlight of the world’s and media’s attention.
