Blinken sent a Letter to Turkovic: U.S. values Partnership with BiH

United States (U.S.) Secretary of State, Antony Blinken sent a letter to Bisera Turkovic, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Turkovic published this information on herFacebook profile.

Blinken, in a letter, among other things, thanked BiH for participating in the military mission in Afghanistan.

”The U.S. values the partnership with BiH and hopes to continue cooperation in the future. I would like to express our gratitude for your contribution to the joint efforts to fight terrorism and secure a better future for the Afghan people,” Blinken said.

Also, Blinken emphasized that members of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) have been part of the military mission from 2009 until 2021.

”The AFBiH provided protection of critical importance to the NATO elements, demonstrating diligence and a high level of training. We hope to continue cooperation on the economic and humanitarian field in Afghanistan, ” Blinken pointed out.

A few days ago, Blinken and Turkovic participated and spoketogether at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm.
