Bloomberg reveals on which Place regarding health protection B&H is

Health Result List vesti-online.comAccording to the research of the company Bloomberg on health protection and risks, B&H is on the 34th position among the world countries, and only Slovenia of all countries of the former Yugoslavia is ranked better than B&H.

The research used data od the United Nations, the World Bank and the World Health Organization, and Singapore is currently the country with the best health system.

Each country with more than a million inhabitants was analysed, its health result was determined and health risk assessed. Percentage for each country was obtained by subtracting health risk from the health result.

Health result of each country was assessed on the basis of several factors, such as average life span, cause of death, and the like, while the health risk assessment was made based on data about the number of young people who smoke, number of people with high cholesterol, etc.

Based on the entire analysis, Singapore is on the first place with 89.45 percent of health result. Italy is on the second place, and among first ten countries are Australia, Switzerland, Japan, Israel, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany.

Of the former Yugoslavian countries, B&H is ranked 34th, and only Slovenia is ranked better, the 25th. Croatia is 36th, Macedonia 43rd, and Serbia 74th.

Countries with the lowest percentage of health result are Swaziland, Lesoto, Chad, Mozambique, and other African countries. Complete list can be seen on this link.
