The body of a newborn was found on the bank of the Vrbas River, under the bridge at the entrance to Bugojno, in the afternoon, the Ministry of the Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton confirmed to the media.
Central Bosnia Canton Ministry of Interior spokesman Hasan Hodzic said that the report on finding the child’s body was received at 3:20 p.m.
Police officers went to the scene, and the on-duty prosecutor is leading the investigation.
