Convicted war criminal and commander of Gabela camp near Capljina Boško Previšić died on February 10 at the age of 76. According to testimonies, he personally issued orders for torture, and also killed the prisoner Mustafa Obradović.

On April 24, 2018, the County Court in Osijek sentenced Previšić to eight years in prison for war crimes. He served his sentence in the Penitentiary in Glina, and in 2021 he was transferred to the Penitentiary in Požega – semi-open ward.

Previšić was charged with war crimes against Bosniak civilians and prisoners of war in the period from May 8 to December 22, 1993 by the Prosecutor’s Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK). Before the start of the trial in 2005, he fled Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia.

Witnesses also described at the trial of Previšić’s deputy Nikola Andrun how Previšić murdered prisoner Mustafa Obradović.

Witness Osman Turajlić confirmed during his testimony that the camp warden was Boško Previšić, who often “shot around the hangar and made noise”, and on one occasion killed prisoner Mustafa Obradović.

Previšić will be buried tomorrow, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the local Catholic cemetery St. Leopold Mandić in Grabovine, Klix.ba writes.
