The Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) men’s national sitting volleyball team qualified for the final of the World Championship yesterday, which is being held in Sarajevo. In the semi-final match, our Golden Boys defeated Egypt 3:0 in sets (25:13, 25:19, 25:20) and reached their sixth final at the world championships.

In last night’s second semi-final match, current world and Paralympic champion Iran faced Brazil.

The final match is scheduled for tomorrow, with a live broadcast on the BHRT program.

The BiH national team defeated Serbia, the United States (U.S.), and Japan in the group stage, then Croatia in the round of 16 and Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals, which, according to coach Ifet Mahmutovic, is the biggest surprise of the World Cup.

BiH has three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal from the world championships in its rich collection.
