Chef Boris Krecar from Banja Luka, who won the first award at the regional competition of chefs “Gastofest”, decided to win truck full of chicken products to the soup kitchen “Mosaic of friendship” and thus made more than 300 citizens of Banja Luka happy.

This modest man from Banja Luka is one of the best chefs in this region, which was confirmed by the main reward at aforementioned competition that was held in Sarajevo, and which gathered more than 50 top chefs from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and BiH.

“Competition lasted for two days and we were the best on both days. We prepared exclusively chicken dishes and I won the first place. In the agreement with the organizer of the event, we donated 120 kilograms of chicken meat to soup kitchen that is managed by ‘Mosaic of friendship’,” stated this modest man.

Miroslav Subasic from the “Mosaic of friendship” was more than happy with the donation.

“They could not come in the better moment. We will prepare donated meat for the official Easter dinner, where we expect more than 300 residents of Banja Luka. This is something that made us all happy, and we owe great gratitude to Bojan who decided to do such a great humanitarian gesture,” noted Subasic.

Krecar is currently employed at the restaurant “Le Kok” in Banja Luka which provided him with the entire logistic help during the competition, and in which food is based on chicken dishes.
