Bosnian Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations met with UNDP Delegation

Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Stasa Kosarac met with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) delegation led by Deputy Director for Europe and Central Asia Agi Veres.

During the meeting, the two delegations discussed UNDP’s cooperation with Bosnian institutions.

The delegation informed Minister Kosarac that UNDP is currently implementing 15 projects in Bosnia under the jurisdiction of that ministry.

The interlocutors noted that there was a high level of cooperation, as well as the involvement of the Ministry and other levels of government in the implementation of UNDP projects in the field of environment, climate change and energy efficiency.

The need for cooperation in the implementation of projects in the segment of agriculture, tourism, and economy was also pointed out during the meeting.

For his part, minister Kosarac informed the UNDP delegation that his ministry is fully committed to international cooperation, including cooperation with UNDP, in order to create better conditions for economic growth in the country.
