Sasha_ToperichThe famous Bosnian pianist Saša Toperić announced his concert in honour of the victims of genocide in Srebrenica to be held in May in Washington.

But he will not play alone. Along with him, there will be Tom Yazdgerdi too, director of the Office for South and Central Europe at the State Department.

Toperić does not play actively, because he has many obligations at the international political scene within the Centre for trans- Atlantic relations SAIS in Washington. His latest concert was in Tokio four years ago. All the money was collected for the children of Fukushima.

The concert in honour of the victims of Srebrenica is part of a large project of events marking 20 years since the end of the war in BiH, the Dayton Peace Agreement and the genocide in Srebrenica, organized by SAIS, US Embassy in Washington, American Peace Institut and the American-Bosnian Foundation.
