Gala ceremony was organized on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in Belgrade and it was held on the occasion of handing over the award “Lady of the Year 2018”.
This was a closed type of event, and it was organized for about 250 VIP guests from all spheres of life, and among the invitees were ladies from social, public and economic life who achieved success in different fields, and kept the subtle side of their personality, femininity and as such they represent a true roll model in their surroundings.
Among twenty winners of this prestigious regional award is also BH activist and entrepreneur, beautiful Adisa Tufo from Sarajevo. Her work, social engagement and creativity are well-known, and besides the membership in the VIP Club “DAME”, she was also awarded with the “Lady of the Year 2018” award.
This successful lady already received numerous local and regional awards in the field of entrepreneurship and social engagement, and now she received the “Lady of the Year” award for her femininity, contribution to female entrepreneurship and social engagement, within which she advocates ideas referring to gender equality, the position of woman in the overall society and equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their gender or any other kind of affiliation.
“The awards are beautiful and they often come in the end. It might seem so sudden for others, but there is so much effort invested in order for you to be recognized by someone. The most important thing is to enjoy the process, to enjoy every day that is given to us and give your maximum. Of course, I love every award and every one of them is obligating me. As the time is going by, there are more and more acknowledgments, and my goals are getting larger, smarter, and I believe that there will be more of them. The regional award “Lady of the Year” is especially dear to me because it honours my “femininity”. I am successful in my work, but I am a woman and a mother in the first place and I enjoy all those feminine things that are defining us as women. “The Lady of the Year” award is intended for that kind of women, isn’t it…? “, said Adisa Tufo, who also added that she is happy to be in Belgrade with successful women from Serbia and the region.
The annual awarding ceremony of the “Lady of the Year” to women from public, social and economic life is organized by Dejan Pantic, the President of the Citizens Association “Child in the Heart” since 2014, and he is one of the most appreciated gentlemen among the ladies as the creator of the event intended for women.
