Amid recent speculation, the President of the Serbian Democratic Party, Branko Blanuša, issues the following statement to provide accurate public information:

“The Serbian Democratic Party will run in elections at all levels of government without any doubt, leaving no room for concern or speculation. The Main Board and the Assembly of the Serbian Democratic Party have made decisions regarding candidates, and those decisions remain unchanged! In accordance with these decisions, I am the Serbian Democratic Party’s candidate for President of Republika Srpska. Additionally, given the whole situation, the final confirmation and decision on candidates for two individual positions will be made by the Main Board of the Serbian Democratic Party on Sunday, June 7.

I once again call on all opposition parties to demonstrate reason and responsibility by running together on a single ticket, respecting the party strength we represent and the spectrum of voters we can reach.”
