Branko Blanuša was elected president of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) at the party assembly in Banja Luka.
Blanuša received unanimous support.
The function of acting president of the SDS has been held until now by Jovica Radulović.
Blanuša was a candidate for president of the Republika Srpska in the early elections in November, and will also be in the regular elections next year.
