auto_rijeka_yt_prtscrTwo days ago, police officer Vladimir Cetina saved two people from an overflowing river in Kiseljak.

In evening hours of November 9, Cetina was traveling from Kiseljak to Kreševo by car, when he noticed the vehicle that fell in the Kreševka River.

Since the river was overflowing, the vehicle tipped over on the roof and was entirely under water.

The police officer jumped in the river, not waiting for others to help him, and helped the driver and passenger to get out of the vehicle.

The injured received medical help in the Health Center Kiseljak, where the doctors diagnosed them with light injuries.

Cetina was injured during the rescue operation and he is currently in treatment.

Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton reached a decision on rewarding this policeman for his courageous, professional and humane act.

In his report, police officer Vladimir Cetina stated that he was not thinking for a single moment about whether to jump or wait for help and that he thinks that everyone would do the same.
