The British special envoy for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach, will be in Bosnia and Herzegovina today and tomorrow, which, as stated by the British Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is an indicator of the United Kingdom’s continued commitment to the security, stability and prosperity of the country.

During the visit, Lord Peach will meet a range of interlocutors to discuss economic, political and security issues.

Demonstrating the centrality of a secure environment, key to wider social and economic development, Lord Peach will also meet with those who support security across the country.

Highlighting the UK’s commitment to renewable energy and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s green transition, he will join local experts and officials in discussing the potential for greater progress towards a greener future.

Lord Peach also plans to meet with war veterans from the three former armies that fought in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are working to build greater understanding between communities and support the reconciliation process across the country, the statement said.
